On request of several dentists we have also developed a toothpaste with fluoride. We do use a natural fluoride derived from calcium instead of the mostly used chemical variants such as sodium fluoride.The use of a natural alternative fits our philosophy; a healthy mouth is essential for a healthy body! bluem® toothpaste contains active oxygen, derived from honey enzymes. Other active ingredients are xylitol and lactoferrin for optimal daily oral care. We’ve changed the name of this product, the toothpaste is also known as ‘perio care’. It’s the same toothpaste with the same effectiveness. Only a different packaging. It’s possible you still find the ‘old’ packaging, don’t worry, just check the ‘best-before’ date.

Instructions
Use bluem® toothpaste every day, it’s a regular toothpaste for everyday use. Brush at least twice a day. Use an extra or ultra soft brush for the best results. Use tooth brush in the right angle to remove all dental plaque. Brush at least for two minutes. Be gentle teeth and gums are living tissues! Always be careful with the soft tissues in your mouth.Doctor Peter Blijdorp advises to brush after each meal using his unique formula based on active oxygen.

How does calcium fluoride work?
Fluoride is a substance which is present in the enamel and the dentin in teeth of our elements. Dentin is coated with a hard layer of enamel. Fluoride ensures the hardness of teeth so that it is more resistant to tooth decay. This removes the likelihood of issues such as dental caries (cavities), wear through erosion or abrasion. In some cases fluoride can help small holes within the enamel to recover, reducing the need for dental repairs.
How many times a day do I have to brush?
For an optimal result we advise you to brush two, three times a day with bluem® toothpaste. In addition you can use our mouthwash to get the best results. Oral gel is advisable in case of wound healing or other problems in your mouth.
Why is this toothpaste more liquid than others?
bluem® toothpaste (with fluoride) is a less viscous toothpaste. It is thinner than other toothpaste brands. This aids the nylon hairs of toothbrushes in the removal of plaque. It does this whilst administering the active oxygen.
Our toothpaste is relatively liquid and therefore more effective in removing plaque than other toothpaste.
Don’t use too much – small amounts will do just fine.
