blue®m mouthwash is the perfect completion to the usage of bluem toothpaste. The mouthwash is specially developed by a team of implantologists, oral surgeons and dentists, and contains active oxygen. The oxygen within the effective bluem formula normalises and controls harmful bacteria.
Our mouthwash is fresh and does not contain alcohol or fluoride. Alcohol can give a dry sensation to the mouth which can give you a bad taste. That is why we decided not to use alcohol in our products. Fluoride can damage implants. To make sure everyone can use our mouthwash, we also decided to skip the fluoride. Your health is our mission!

Daily use of bluem® mouthwash with active oxygen helps to maintain healthy teeth and gums. It reduces the chance of various oral problems like gum inflammation, ulcers, peri-implantitis and periodontitis. bluem® mouthwash is an excellent choice when you have dental implants. Other products containing fluoride can cause corrosion to the titanium top layer of the implant and damage.
Our mouthwash was first named ‘Implant care’. Those bottles are still sold. Just a different name, the same high standard quality. Make sure to check the ‘best before’-date as indicated on the packaging.
How to use blue®m mouthwash?
Use bluem® mouthwash daily to complete your oral care ritual. Rinse for 60 seconds after brushing with bluem® toothpaste or after meals or as indicated by your oral surgeon or dentist. Do not rinse your mouth with water after using bluem® mouthwash. The active oxygen is still working and rinsing with water will stop this process.

Does bluem® mouthwash contain alcohol?
No, our mouthwash is free of alcohol. We believe a healthy body starts with a healthy mouth. Because bluem® mouthwash contains active oxygen, there’s no need for an aggressive disinfectant like alcohol. Alcohol and fluoride free mouthwash is not only the healthy alternative and it doesn’t cause a dry mouth.

Which active ingredients does bluem® mouthwash contain?
bluem® mouthwash does not only contain active oxygen as active ingredient. It also contains xylitol and lactoferrin as active ingredients to prevent growth of bacteria.
What is lactoferrin and what’s the effectiveness?
Lactoferrin is a protein in the saliva that kills bacteria. It is a natural form of antibiotic that protects us from all kinds of fungi, bacteria and viruses. It is a body-like substance that is not only in the first breast milk but also in cow’s milk. As newborn children and calves have little resistance to bacteria, lactoferrin helps fight against enteric pathogens.
Lactoferrin contains no lactose and is therefore safe to use by people with lactose intolerance.
